    • Explore the books of Genesis through Deuteronomy, examining why they were written, what they meant to their original audience, and how we should respond to them today.

    • Explore the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and discover their distinctive approaches to the life, ministry and message of Jesus.

    • Learn about the establishment of the early church under the Apostles, and the activity and growth of the church during the first century.

    • Examine the period of Israel's history from the conquest of Canaan to just after Joshua's death, including God's promise to be with Joshua in all that he did.

    • Learn from more than 60 theologians, pastors and teachers as they offer insight into the history of the church, from the apostolic era through the Reformation.

    • Explore the effect the Bible has had on the world by studying a variety of ancient artifacts.

About the Instructor

Dr. Julio C. Salas, D.Ed.Min, MDIV, MSIS, Licensed Minister

Dr. Julio C. Salas, MSIS, MDIV is a Licensed Southern Baptist Minister, Seminary Instructor, Consultant in Organizational Leadership, Educational Systems and Systems Integration.

Dr. Julio Salas has a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialty in Management Information Systems, as well as a Master of Science in Information Systems, both from Florida International University (School of Business) in the city of Miami in the United States of America. He also has a Master of Divinity from the  Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky (USA). Dr. Salas has a Doctorate in Educational Ministry with a concentration in Leadership from the same Baptist educational institution.

Dr. Julio C. Salas brings a combined twenty-five years of integrated professional and ministry experience in various areas of church ministry and service. This includes directional leadership, leadership coaching and development, organizational coaching and training of church staff and ministry teams, Christian education, discipleship, volunteer management and organization, integration of ministry educational systems, church management systems, information systems of churches and information technology, online Church integration, among other areas of church leadership and management.

In addition to serving in ministry, Dr. Salas has had the privilege of serving and pouring his knowledge and experience into other for-profit and non-profit organizations of various industries and sizes, including the public and private sectors, both in English and Spanish. Spanish.

His professional experience includes business, finance, small and medium-sized businesses, retail, online, school system, police and prison system, library system, electoral systems, cruise ships, television channels, e-commerce, among others. From 2004 to 2010 he was a member of the Miami-Dade County Advisory Board, a position he held providing business insights for the best local work for companies in the city of Miami.

Dr. Salas is married to his beautiful wife Dady with whom he shares a romance and life adventure. As the wise King Solomon said about 900 years before Christ: “Who can find a virtuous woman? Because its esteem far exceeds that of precious stones. (Proverbs 31:10-31).
